Jewish Latino Teen Coalition

JLTC encourages cultural awareness, political advocacy and youth leadership for high school students in Tucson, AZ.

The Jewish-Latino Teen Coalition is a collaboration to build bridges between southern Arizona's Jewish and Latino communities, explore shared values and concerns, and work together toward mutual goals.

High school sophomores and juniors in Tucson who identify as Jewish, Latino, or both can apply to be a part of this group, which travels each March to Washington, DC, to lobby Congress for issues they deem important to their communities. The students also attend workshops and trainings on political activism, social justice, and other leadership issues.
