Why I LOVE THIS RECIPE: My Grandma Frieda's kitchen was filled with delicious smells and her love emanated in every dish she prepared. She would pull up a chair in front of an open refrigerator reaching for healthy foods to include in her creations that she shared with her family and friends. I could taste the love in her foods prepared with her " golden hentilahs" !
INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:
Grandma Frieda's Vegetarian Chopped Liver
1/2 pound lentils
3 large onions
a handful of walnuts
Cook lentils until the water boils
Lower flame and simmer until lentils are soft
In the meantime, saute chopped onions in olive oil
Drain and rinse off lentils in colander
Put all ingredients into food processor and enjoy!
