Ingredients:
  • 5 c. unbleached flour
  • 1 env. dry yeast
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 c. warm water (120-130 degrees)
  • 1-1/2 c. sesame seeds or sesame and poppy seed combination

Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Mix flour, yeast, salt and sugar in food processor
  • Blend melted butter with 1 c. warm water
  • Add mixture gradually through feed tube of food processor until dough forms a ball
  • Place in greased bowl, coating dough.
  • Cover with plastic wrap then hot, damp towel
  • Let rise until double in bulk (1-2 hours)
  • Divide dough into tennis-ball size pieces
  • Spread seeds on surface of each piece and roll into pieces as thinly as possible
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 13 minutes
