SAVE THE DATE: “L’Door V’Dor”* 50 Years on 5th Street Gala honoring those who opened Congregation Anshei Israel’s doors and those investing in our future generations.
Congregation Anshei Israel was founded in 1930 and originally located in downtown Tucson on S. Stone Avenue. The synagogue relocated in 1946 to 6th Street/Martin, and as the congregation continued to grow, moved in 1969 to its present location on the corner of 5th Street/Craycroft. The evening includes dinner, reception and a 50/50 raffle.
Check back for more information soon or visit http://www.caiaz.org
* L’Door V’Dor is a play on the Hebrew saying “L’Dor V’Dor,” meaning “from generation to generation.”
Join us for a morning of fun with bagels and coffee as we meet some of our partners in the community. Drop in for casual conversation, a little nosh, and a little kibbitzing as we share some smiles and laughs. If you would like to meet new friends and learn more about the Jewish community, this is perfect for you!
