TUCSON, AZ (Sept. 27, 2019) – Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Southern Arizona (JFCS), is initiating a free support group for Jewish women of all ages who have been impacted by domestic violence.

The LEAH (Let’s End Abusive Households) Support Group represents a safe environment for healing and support. Group activities may help in anxiety reduction, planning safe place strategies and empowering participants to survive and improve the quality of their lives. A JFCS Masters-level licensed clinician will facilitate and support the program.

The first LEAH Support Group convening will be held on Monday, October 28, from 6:30 – 7:30 PM at JFCS, 4301 E. 5th Street, Tucson. As of November, 2019, the LEAH support group will meet the third Monday of each month from 6:30 – 7:30 PM at JFCS.
