Congregation Chofetz Chayim is dedicated to providing Jewish experiences in an intimate environment of joy and warmth that enrich ones personal, family and communal life. Many Tucsonans and their families, who have never dreamed of participating in synagogue, have discovered a new sense of connection at Chofetz Chayim. Our rabbi, Israel Becker, and his wife, Esther share a passion and ongoing dream to dedicate their lives to enlightening all Jews about the beauty of Judaism. They are propelled by their belief that although external differences abound among Jews, internally there are no differences. Each has the inner potential, spirit and heart-felt desire to enjoy a deep and personal Jewish experience.

Southwest Torah Institute 
Founded in 1986, the Southwest Torah Institute has connected thousands of members of the Tucson Jewish community to their Judaism through stimulating learning experiences. The Institute responds to the contemporary challenge of presenting in depth Jewish learning as well as the most basic Jewish concepts in a way that is exciting as well as touchable. A wide variety of classes are offered.

Women's Academy
The Women's Academy for Jewish Studies was founded in 1998 by Esther Becker in order to respond to the specific personal, spiritual and educational needs of today's Jewish women. Multi-level classes as well as one-on-one interaction are available to all Jewish women regardless of level of Jewish knowledge, religious commitment or affiliation.

Daily Minyan
Daily minyan services provide an opportunity for club-like camaraderie and meaningful personal connection with G-d. It also provides the opportunity to honor loved ones through Kaddish. Services culminate with get-the-day-going coffee and refreshments. Free door-to-door transportation is available.

Hebrew School
Give your child the gift of a close, interactive learning experience with Rabbi Becker. Through story, song and innovative teaching, Jewish learning is fun and will lead to a lifetime of meaning and personal fulfillment.
