Operation Faith – Mivtzah Emunah

Cantors will find themselves doubly busy on these High Holy Days. They plan to converge, from four continents, as they travel to their spiritual home – Jerusalem. In a show of overwhelming support for the State of Israel and those who have suffered the winds of war this summer – the Jewish Ministers Cantors Association of America & Canada [established 1897] [JMCA] www.thejmca.com in New York City in partnership with The Cantors Conservatory, Inc of Tucson, Arizona www.CantorsConservatory.org and the Government of Israel – Ministry of Tourism ,World Zionist Organization and the Israel Center at the JCC of Tucson, will travel to perform Services of Thanksgiving – culminating with a Concert of Thanksgiving at the Western Wall of the Ancient Temple of Jerusalem – The Kotel on October 18^th. Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on September 22, 2006 and festivities, services and music presentations will take place through October 19, 2000.
