Monday, Apr 7 at 6 pm -WRJ Women’s Seder - Hear the Passover story from the women’s perspective and experience the Exodus in a new, fresh, and meaningful way. Seder led by Rabbi Batsheva Appel and Marjorie Hochberg, followed by a delicious kosher-for-Passover dinner.  RSVP by March 21st; $24 adult members of Temple or WRJ, $30 non-members, $10 children 4-12. Tuesday, Apr 15 at 9:30 am - Passover Festival Morning Services and Yitzkor led by Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon, Rabbi Batsheva Appel and Cantorial Soloist Marjorie Hochberg.  All are welcome.

Friday, Apr 18 at 5:30 pm - Re-enact our ancestors’ wandering in the desert at our annual Passover Shabbat Hike and Service at Saguaro National Park East with Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon and Temple Emanu-El’s Wandering Jews. We’ll meet at the trailhead at the far east end of Broadway and hike the 0.7 mile trail to Mica Picnic area, enjoy a picnic supper and a fun, musical Shabbat evening service. Bring a picnic dinner, flashlight, something to sit on and your kippah. Call 327-4501.
Saturday, Apr 19 at 9:30 am - Shabbat Passover Morning Service and reading of the Song of Songs, followed by the Rabbi’s Tish, an extended Torah Study and potluck lunch; please bring a dairy/vegetarian kosher-for-Passover side dish to share.

Let My People Go”… Honoring the spirit of the ancient story of the Jews’ exodus from Egypt, and the struggles of all peoples who have fought and died for freedom, Temple Emanu-El and Humane Borders are proud to co-sponsor a Freedom Seder led by actor and activist Ed Asner. Representatives of various faith traditions and political leaders will contribute reflections on freedom and on the moral imperative to save endangered lives.
