Guest speaker Anna Spitz, Education & Public Outreach Lead from the Lunar & Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona, will discuss the OSIRIS-REx Mission. OSIRIS-REx stands for Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer. It is a project to send a spacecraft to an asteroid get soil samples and bring them back to earth to be studied. These soil samples may help us better understand planet formation and the building blocks of life. Includes breakfast buffet.

Yom Yerushalayim celebrates the anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. This year’s program features an exhibition of a catalogue of 10 of Micha Bar-Am’s works. Bar-Am is a renowned Israeli journalistic photographer whose most prominent pictures are from when he covered the Six Day War in 1967. His is a compassionate eye capturing wartime life.
