LGBT Jewish Inclusion Project: Fostering a Welcoming Jewish Community for LGBT JewsCelebrate Jewish Holidays with LGBT Jews – Hanukkah parties and Passover Seders, and the High Holidays
We Need You! Be part of a vibrant and growing Jewish community. Tucson is an enclave in the Southwest, where LGBT-Jewish inclusion is thriving! We are your reference point for connecting with LGBT and Jewish resources, people, and information, here in Southern Arizona and around the world. Many major U.S., as well as international cities have a variety of LGBT-Jewish organizations and grass roots groups serving their communities. Some of the upcoming/new programs include:
LGBT Jewish Inclusion Project 2013 Passover Seder
Hosted at Congregation Or Chadash (3939 N. Alvernon Way), and led by Rabbi Thomas Louchheim using our newly revised LGBT Haggadah
It is the 3rd night of Passover on March 27 starting at 6 pm.
A complete Kosher-style, Kosher for Passover meal (with vegetarian options) will be served.
And, of course, wine, matzoh and all the moror and charoses you could desire.
Bring your favorite Passover Family Tradition Story to share with everyone. For instance, my cousins and I always had a raw onion eating contest -- I don't know why, we just did.
Cost is $20/person - More if you can, less if you can't
Reservations and Prepayment Required; must RSVP by March 20. Contact Ellen Freeman or call 577-9393 for your tickets.
